Full-Time Accounting Specialist

Michael & Son Services is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing accounts receivable, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This is a key position where attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills are crucial to the company's financial health. The position offers a competitive salary in the range of $45,000 to $55,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and track accounts receivable, including reviewing invoices, processing payments, and following up on overdue accounts
• Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations for bank and financial accounts
• Review and process financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Assist in generating financial reports and providing data for audits
• Communicate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve financial discrepancies
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and assist with month-end close processes

Qualifications:

• Minimum of an associate's degree PLUS 1 year of relevant experience
• Experience with Service Titan and Intacct accounting software is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
